– Gartner analyst Tom Austin, on Google’s drive to steal customers from the heart of Microsoft’s –its Windows operating system. “Bring it on!” Said Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer two weeks ago in France, where I interviewed him at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. Ballmer boasted that Windows’ superior integration and support is worth the higher price than any system that Google will offer.
