This Thursday, October 28th at 9:00 PM/ET, “Bloomberg Game Changers” profiles Sergey Brin and Larry Page, co-founders of Google (GOOG).  They will also post the show on their website after it aires.

From the site:

In 1996, two Stanford PhD students -a Russian immigrant and a kid from the Midwest invented a search engine that has changed the world of information. What began as a graduate school research project for 22-year old Sergey Brin and 21-year old Larry Page quickly transformed into Google and a mission to “organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.”

“Bloomberg Game Changers” follows Brin and Page from their first meeting at Stanford to the now standard Silicon Valley start-up in a garage – to the new media mega-company on a collision course with old media businesses of newspapers, books, movies and television. Along the way to its astounding success, the co-founders have redefined advertising, created a chain of products such as Google Maps, News, Gmail and have taken on rival giants like Apple and Microsoft.

Through interviews with their college professors, Google employee #1, and the investors who got them money when it counted, this hour-long special “Bloomberg Game Changers” reveals how Brin and Page went from computer geeks to billionaires, creating a company and culture that is revered…and feared by competitors and consumers.

Interviews include Ken Auletta, the preeminent media journalist and author of “Googled;” Craig Silverstein, Google employee #1; Terry Winograd, their Stanford advisor; and Ram Shriram, one of the earliest investors in Google.
