Verizon likely to launch some LTE 4G phones at CES, according to a tweet by @VerizonWireless.
You don’t get more blunt than the Tweet the @VerizonWireless (VZ) account just posted. It says: “Jan. 6 at #CES: #Android and #LTE – could it be like peanut butter and chocolate? YUM!”
Peanut butter and Chocolate is of course referring to the 1980’s classic Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups series of advertisements:

Sprint’s (S) first 4G phones were the HTC Evo and the Samsung Epic 4G, both of which proved very popular earlier this year. T-Mobile has been rolling out its ‘4G-like’ HSPA+ services with speeds up to 21Mbps on Android phones like the MyTouch4G and the G2, both of which run Google’s (GOOG) Android. It would make sense that Verizon’s services launch with the same phone platform.
Rumors of a 4G iPhone on Verizon have gotten a little traction as well.
