- Former CNN and Time magazine exec Walter Isaacson is working on the first authorized Steve Jobs biography ever, entitled “iSteve: The Book of Jobs,” which hits shelves and e-bookstores early next year. Isaacson reportedly has unprecedented access to pen the opus, including interviews with Jobs, members of his family, as well as Apple colleagues and competitors. - Google announced that it stopped sending out its Street View cars to take photos in Germany, though it will still show online photos already taken of 20 German cities. Resistance from German citizens surrounding privacy, which resulted in the blurring of various buildings and homes, probably played a factor in the decision. (Search Engine Land)

- It was only a matter of time until iPads officially made their way into the hands of kids. The school district of Auburn Maine is supplying 285 iPad 2s to kindergartners and their teachers as part of a pilot project that starts this May and rolls out in earnest this fall. (Electronista)
- Looks like Apple is also pretty serious about the gaming space, at least if recent hires are any indication. The Cupertino-based company hired away Nintendo UK PR head Rob Saunders and Activision’s UK communications head Nick Grange. (VG247)
- One hardcore FarmVille fan known simply as “Kristin,” uploaded a photo showing off a new sizable tattoo on her hand honoring the popular farming simulator. “It express my love for the game,” she commented.
