Diana Nyad is not one to downplay her accomplishments. On her record-setting swim from Cuba to Key West: “Without sounding too full of hubris, it was epic,” she said of her 110-mile journey. In a conversation with Chelsea Handler, Nyad regaled the audience at Coins2Day’s Most Powerful Women Summit on Wednesday with tales of her childhood and how her best friend Bonnie Stoll inspired her to swim just five strokes more when she thought she couldn’t go any further.
