FORTUNE — If you’ve got a few hundred million dollars lying around, you too could contribute to a potentially record-setting year at Christie’s, the famed fine arts auction house.
A recent sale of post-war and contemporary art has pulled in $744 million, The Guardian reported Wednesday. Two paintings by the late pop artist Andy Warhol alone sold for $100 million, which included a portrait of Marilyn Monroe (completed not long after the actress died in 1962).

Other big sales included $84.2 million for Black Fire I, an abstract expressionist work by American artist Barnett Newman. It is the most ever paid for a piece by the artist, who died in 1970.
In 2013, Christie’s sold £4.5 billion ($7.4 billion.) Worth of artworks and collectibles.
