Baring Private Equity Asia and Japanese audio equipment maker Onkyo have partnered to acquire the audiovisual business of Japan’s Pioneer (Tokyo: 6773), according to the Nikkei business daily. The company reports a $4.4 million net loss on $7.5 million in revenue for Q1 2014.
