Apple (AAPL) is expected to hold an event to introduce new, bigger iPhones on Sept. 9, according to the website Re/code.

Apple events in September are typically reserved for introduction of new devices, with sales of the devices taking place shortly after.

The news of the Sept. 9 media event was first broken by Re/code’s John Paczkowski, who is noted for his accuracy when reporting on Apple events.

Apple is expected to launch two new iPhones with bigger screens: One is rumored to have a 4.7-inch display, while another is said to have a 5.5-inch display. The new iPhones will also reportedly run on A8 processors.

An Apple spokeswoman declined to comment about the reported Sept. 9 media event date to Coins2Day.

On July 22, Apple reported its third-quarter earnings, which included sales of 35.2 million iPhones during the quarter, up 12.6% year over year.
