Venture capital firm CMEA Capital has agreed to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit brought against it in March 2013 by three former firm employees, according to a filing in San Francisco Superior Court. Also party to the settlement appears to be co-defendant John Haag, the former CMEA chief operating partner who was accused of perpetrating some of the most egregious offenses.
CMEA had failed last year to compel arbitration in the case, which also included charges of racial harassment and retaliation.
No terms were disclosed for the settlement, which still must be approved by a judge. Coins2Day has left messages for CMEA, lead plaintiff Dawn Weeks and her attorney, but none have replied.
