Apple sent out a media invitation Thursday inviting journalists to March 9 event, leading to much speculation that it could be when the tech company reveals its much anticipated Apple Watch.
The invitation didn’t say much, but featured the phrase “Spring Forward.” The event is the day following daylight savings, when we push clocks forward one hour.
The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, Calif., at 10 a.m. PT.
Chief Executive Tim Cook said last month that the company plans to launch the Watch in April. The smartwatch, which will let consumers check their email, pay for goods at retail stores and monitor personal health information, represents Apple’s (AAPL) first major new product introduction since the 2010 launch of the iPad.

Apple launched the campaign for its first wearable computer in the March issue of Vogue — the one in which all the fashion houses that matter launch their spring collections.
