Walgreens announced Thursday that it’s issuing a recall on Nice! Powdered Sugar Mini Donuts because of issues with mold growth.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration sent out a press release alerting consumers to the issue, saying “consumer complaints alleging that mold was observed on some products. Consumers in possession of this product should return the product to any Walgreens store for a full refund.”
The donuts have reportedly been distributed in Walgreens stores across the nation.
In other donut news, Dunkin’ Donuts recently announced a partnership with Chips Ahoy cookies in a bid to boost afternoon sales. The donut maker is creating a new product combining the cookie with its signature item.
