Nerds everywhere, rejoice!

ThinkGeek, the online seller of geeky gadgets, is planning to open its first physical store at the Florida Mall in Orlando, Fla., on Sept. 25.

The move comes after GameStop (GME) acquired its parent company, Geeknet, for $140 million in June, according to Consumerist.

“The opening of our first brick and mortar store is a significant milestone for the brand and a great example of how the GameStop acquisition is a win for our customers,” Katy McCarthy, president of ThinkGeek, said in a statement. “While people know us today as an online retailer, the GameStop connection will bring vastly more visibility to the brand and our ever expanding selection of exclusive products.”

At the time of the acquisition, GameStop CEO Paul Raines said: “This acquisition creates value to all stakeholders involved. The addition of Geeknet is an important expansion of our global multichannel platform and we are excited to leverage their product development expertise to broaden our product offering in the fast-growing collectibles category and deepen relationships with our existing customer base.”

ThinkGeek first started selling its products in 1999.
