US-VOTE-REPUBLICANS-DEBATE
Republican presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina looks on during the Republican presidential debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California on September 16, 2015. Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump stepped into a campaign hornet's nest as his rivals collectively turned their sights on the billionaire in the party's second debate of the 2016 presidential race. Former HP CEO and Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina got a scare on the campaign trail Sunday when a curtain nearly fell on her at a conference for female business owners in San Antonio, Texas.

The curtain began swaying and then crashed down around Fiorina, who finds herself a top GOP contender for the presidential nomination according to recent polls after strong debate showings.

No one was injured when the curtain fell. She handled the scare with grace and returned to making her comments to the crowd of business owners almost immediately after the incident, according to reports.

Patrick Svitek, a Texas Tribune reporter, said that someone shouted “Trump!” After the curtain fell. “Trump, Hillary — it could’ve been lots of people,” said Fiorina, jokingly, he reported.

Svitek caught video of the incident.

There’s also a longer video of the curtain falling and Fiorina’s reaction, via ABC.
