Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump stepped into a campaign hornet's nest as his rivals collectively turned their sights on the billionaire in the party's second debate of the 2016 presidential race. If you’ve still got an old-fashioned flip phone, presidential candidate Carly Fiorina has got a bone to pick with you.

Fiorina wants all citizens to have smartphones to make it easier for Americans to communicate directly with the president, according to ABC News.

“I will go into the Oval Office on a regular basis, I will ask you to take out your smartphones, and I will engage in a conversation with the citizens of this nation,” Fiorina, previously the CEO at HP, told a crowd recently.

Fiorina thinks that by allowing citizens to vote directly on issues that affect them, pressure can be put on elected officials to get moving on key pieces of legislation.
