Carly Fiorina, who has been pushing herself as the Republican foil to top Democratic contender for President Hillary Clinton, upped the rhetoric at the third GOP debate Wednesday night.
Fiorina, formerly the CEO of Hewlett-Packard (HPQ), said during her closing statement that Clinton should watch out.
“What we need now is a proven leader who has produced results,” she said. “That’s how you go from secretary to CEO: You lead and you produce results. I may not be your dream candidate, just yet, but I can assure you: I am Hillary Clinton’s worst nightmare.”
“In your heart of hearts,” she added, “you cannot wait to see a debate between Hillary Clinton and Carly Fiorina.”
Fiorina has been harshly criticized for her leadership at HP, which you can read about in this August article from Coins2Day. She appeared on The Tonight Show in September to defend her record.
