Sending messages via the Internet may not be forever after all. Confide, billed as the Snapchat for business professionals, is an app that allows users to communicate via a message that disappears after being read. The end-to-end encrypted message is revealed one line at a time when you swipe your finger over a block of text. This helps prevent unwanted screen shots, though you’re alerted if a screen shot is attempted. You use email addresses to send messages, and you are alerted when the message is read. Confide says that it has no retrievable copy of the message.
