Adele continued her winning streak with a much-praised performance of “Hello” and “When We Were Young” on “Saturday Night Live” on Saturday night. It was her first time on the show since 2008.

By early Sunday, #Adele was trending on Twitter, with some 500,000 tweets, many in praise of her performance. Her album 25, which was released on Nov. 20, is on track to sell more than 2.5 million albums in its first week, according to Billboard—enough to surpass the current record-holder, *NSYNC’s 2.42 million album sales for No Strings Attached. 25 sold almost one million copies on iTunes on its first release day. Taking a note from Taylor Swift’s playbook, Adele decided not to make her new album available on Spotify.

That wouldn’t be the first record Adele broke with her comeback album. In the first 24 hours that the “Hello” music video was available on Vivo, it racked up 27.7 million views—knocking Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood, with 20.1 first-day views, out of the top spot. In the song’s first five days, it beat Miley Cyrus’s “Wreaking Ball” for topping 100 million views in only 5 days, according to Coins2Day. Then, in the first week, “Hello” became the only song other than Elton John’s 1973 hit “Candle in the Wind” to move more than 1 million copies, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Currently, 5 of the top 10 songs on iTunes are from Adele’s new album.

Adele is booked to appear on NBC’s “Tonight” show Nov. 23 and “Today” show on Nov. 25, according to Business Insider.
