Adidas Lowers It's Yearly Outlook Based On Turmoil In Russia

German athletics company Adidas is looking to sell its hockey-gear subsidiary CCM, reports the New York Post.

Adidas declined to comment to the Post, and did not immediately return calls to Coins2Day.

CCM is a major player in the hockey industry. Players with endorsement deals include mega-stars like Sidney Crosby, John Tavares, Carey Price and wunderkind 18-year-old Connor McDavid.

Selling CCM, the Post notes, would continue Adidas’ departure from the sports gear market. The company is currently exploring a sale of golf club manufacturer TaylorMade.

Adidas tried to sell CCM in 2013 for $150 million but couldn’t get the deal done.
