Longtime Google (GOOG) executive and YouTube chief Susan Wojcicki is often asked during business events about her five kids and work/life balance, and she’s tired of it.

“I’m a woman CEO and I have five children and I realize that’s different,” Wojcicki said at the Coins2Day Most Powerful Women Next Gen Summit in San Francisco on Wednesday. “On the other hand, at a business conference talking about business, the questions should be about business.”

There’s a time and a place to talk about balancing motherhood with her career, but it’s very strange to be at an event when I’m being asked about by kids and my competitors are being asked about their work, she added.

Wojcicki was responding to a question about an interview that took place at Coins2Day‘s Brainstorm Tech event in July, during which she was asked how she balances being a CEO with having five children.

“Men never get asked about work/life balance,” Wojcicki pointed out. “Implicit in the question for women is that it’s your job to be at home taking care of your kids, so who is at home taking care of things while you are working?”
