Peyton Manning will earn a $2 million incentive for making the Super Bowl, according to multiplereports.
Manning and the Broncos are headed to Super Bowl 50 after a 20-18 win over the Patriots in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. Manning negotiated the bonus into his contract when he restructured his deal ahead of the 2015 season.
Manning made $15 million in base salary for the regular season. He can also earn another $2 million with a win in the Super Bowl.
Manning will be playing in his fourth Super Bowl on Feb. 7. He played in seven regular season games in 2015, posting the worst passer rating of his career.
