After learning that Marlene Ricketts, part of the family that owns the Chicago Cubs, had contributed to a super PAC which opposes Donald Trump, the GOP candidate responded on Twitter.
“I hear the [Ricketts] family, who own the Chicago Cubs, are secretly spending $’s against me,” Trump wrote on Monday. “They better be careful, they have a lot to hide!”
According to new FEC filings, Ricketts gave $3 million to Our Principles PAC, which has been running campaigns against Trump. Her contribution makes up almost all of the PAC’s funding.

The family also gave to Scott Walker’s campaign back in 2012 when he vied for the GOP nomination.
