Louis C.K. Has joined team #NeverTrump. The comedian compared the Republican presidential candidate to Hitler in the postscript for an email promoting his web series Horace and Pete.

“Please stop it with voting for [Donald] Trump. It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler,” he wrote in Saturday’s email. “And by that I mean that we are being Germany in the ’30s. Do you think they saw the s–t coming? Hitler was just some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb over who would say anything at all.”

C.K. Clarified he’s not advocating for democratic candidates Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders, and would rather have a conservative in the White House to “balance” out President Obama’s eight-year run. “But it only works if the conservatives put up a good candidate. A good smart conservative to face the liberal candidate so they can have a good argument and the country can decide which way to go this time. Trump is not that. He’s an insane bigot. He is dangerous.”

He continued, “We shouldn’t have to vote for someone because they’re not a shocking c–t billionaire liar. We should choose based on what direction the country should go.” Read the full postscript below.

C.K.’s denouncement of Trump comes after Last Week Tonight with John Oliver aired a takedown segment attempting to separate the man from the name. The media personality launched a website DonaldJDrumpf.com to spread the word about his apparent ancestral name.

Other celebs, including Miley Cyrus, George Clooney, and Stephen King, have also spoken out against Trump.

“If you do vote for Trump, at least look at him very carefully first,” C.K. Advised in his message. “You owe that to the rest of us. Know and understand who he is. Spend one hour on Google and just read it all. I don’t mean listen to me or listen to liberals who put him down. Listen to your own people. Listen to John McCain.”
