Taco Bell is testing out a new menu item—the Core Burrito.

The Core Burrito is being likened to a reverse Quesarito. Whereas the Quesarito has a meaty filling with a cheesy outer shell, the Core Burrito is essentially the opposite. It’s made with two meat-filled tortillas wrapped around a core made up of both shredded and nacho cheese—kind of like a savory version of Ben & Jerry’s core ice cream.

Brand Eating reports that there are two variations being tested: the Spicy Core Burrito and the Crunchy Core Burrito. Each can be filled with your choice of meat—seasoned ground beef, chicken, or steak. The cheesy core of the spicy variation contains jalapeños, while its crunchy counterpart includes red tortilla strips. The ground beef version starts at $1.99, or can be purchased alongside a Doritos Locos Taco, a crunchy taco, and a medium-sized drink in a “Big Box” priced at $5.99.

The Yum! Brand (YUM) subsidiary’s newest menu item has been spotted in December in certain Southern California outposts. Brand Eating reports that it’s also being tested in Toledo, Ohio, a location that Taco Bell seems to keep coming back to for market tests. It’s the same city where the chain tested its Quesalupa and its Doritos Locos Taco.
