Samsung’s Galaxy S7 phones have been a massive hit thus far, and the company is reportedly planning a third addition to the family: the S7 Active.
Samsung has built a more rugged version of its Galaxy phones for the last three years, and the S7 won’t be the exception, according to a report from VentureBeat. The handset was listed as a compatible device in the Google Play Store with Samsung’s Level app, which is used to control some of Samsung’s Bluetooth accessories.
This matches data from Zauba, a website that tracks imports and exports from India, which shows that a 5.1-inch device with the number SM-G891A entered India on March 16, according to the report. This model number matches that of the Galaxy S6 Active phone, which is SM-G890A.
The past two years, Samsung released the Active models in June, so this one will most likely make its debut that month as well, as VentureBeat points out.
