Summer vacation is right around the corner. While you’ve likely scoped out the best plane flights for your destination, one big costs looms: the hotel.

Tripadvisor (TRIP) has analyzed its hotel bookings across nine regions and 25 cities to help find the best time to book a hotel room–meaning when you can find the least expensive option– during the months of June, July, and August.

“There are a variety of time periods during the year when it’s idea to book on Tripadvisor depending on the destination,” said Brooke Frencsik, senior director of communications for TripAdvisor. “And savvy travelers can use these insights for significant savings when booking their hotels for summer.”

The best time to land a deal differs depending on where you’re heading, so take a look below to figure out when you should be snagging a reservation for your destination of choice.

Europe

If you’re heading across the pond this summer, Tripadvisor recommends booking your hotel room between three to five months out. That can save as much as 23% versus the peak booking period for the region.

Asia

On the otherhand, you will be more likely to find deals around Asia within three months of a summer trip and save a similar 23% over peak hotel prices. Prices rise slighting three to five weeks out, though they drip to their lowest point within the final two weeks before the travel date.

The Caribbean

Savings for Caribbean hotel rooms aren’t as big even if you avoid the peak booking time. You can save about 7% if you book within four months.

South America

Booking outside of peak times can save nearly 20%. Find the best deals within four months of your trip, though some better deals can pop up within the final few weeks before the travel date.

U.S.

Pricing for American hotels tends to stay steady throughout the year, though you can net about 7% savings if you book within two months of your summer trip.
