People will now be able to more easily share their favorite cat videos with friends through Facebook’s popular Messenger chat app.

Cloud storage startup Dropbox said on Monday that it has built a new feature for Facebook’s chat app that lets users send their Dropbox-stored pictures and videos to other people without leaving the Messenger app. Now, when users chat with friends on Messenger and share their vacation videos, the recipients should be able to see the videos (in addition to images and animated GIFs) embedded in the chats.

“We want people to communicate just the way they want to on Messenger, with everyone they care about,” Facebook (FB) Messenger head of product Stan Chudnovsky said in a statement. “Giving our users the ability to share their Dropbox videos and images in Messenger threads with just a few taps will help them bring more style and personality to those conversations.”

Users will need to have both the Messenger and Dropbox app installed on their Android or iOS device.

But sharing files still requires extra steps for people who want to share other kinds of files like Microsoft (MSFT) Word documents. The recipients will be redirected to the Dropbox app to download or preview the file, according to a Dropbox blog post.

Dropbox has been looking for ways to improve its technology so its users can more quickly access and share the files they store with the service.

In March for example, Dropbox detailed how it reduced its reliance on using Amazon’s (AMZN) cloud computing service to store customer data. Part of Dropbox’s technical improvements involved building it own file-management software and designing its own storage hardware to more efficiently house all of its customers’ photos and videos.

In April, Facebook said Messenger now has 900 million monthly active users, which is an increase from the 800 million users Facebook logged in January.
