Apple’s rumored automotive project could result in a sleek metal car, powered by an electric motor, with huge windows made of super strong glass and double-size doors that smoothly lift up and out of the way when opened.

Or it may not—the projection is the result of guesses from a panel of car and design experts at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, Calif., convened by Motor Trend magazine.

The group also expects Apple to be particularly innovative around the controls and screens in the car, calling the windshield and dashboard “a blank Sistine ceiling” that could be filled with ever-changing data on a swipe-able display. And, of course, the car will likely integrate Apple’s voice-controlled digital personal assistant, Siri.

The car itself is expected to have a round, almost bulbous shape, according to the magazine’s expert panel, which included Stewart Reed, chair of transportation design at the ArtCenter College, and Tim Huntzinger, a professor in graduate transportation systems and design.

In a list of what could be the Apple car’s 13 coolest features, the magazine guesses that it will be electric but won’t need a cord to recharge, relying instead on induction charges. The car could also have an array of ambient lights that could change color and strike different moods for passengers. And the windshield could project all manner of information onto the outside scene to assist drivers.

Apple (AAPL) has not officially confirmed the widespread rumors that it is working on a car in a confidential effort code-named “Project Titan.” Tesla CEO Elon Musk says Apple’s car project is an “open secret” in Silicon Valley. CEO Tim Cook has repeatedly hinted that the project is real, however. Asked about the project at February’s annual Apple shareholders meeting, he said: “Do you remember when you were a kid, and Christmas Eve it was so exciting, you weren’t sure what was going to be downstairs? Well, it’s going to be Christmas Eve for a while.”
