Good morning, WMPW readers! Lady Tina Green is being called to parliament, Hillary Clinton got a ribbing from Obama, and if Marissa Mayer is asked to leave Yahoo, she could get a giant pay package. Want to pass on some news about a powerful woman? Get in touch, at: [email protected] or @laurascohn. Have a great Monday!

THE BIG STORY

Not easy being Green

Lady Tina Green, wife of well-known British billionaire Philip Green, is coming under scrutiny. Along with her husband, Lady Tina has been called to parliament to discuss the collapse of big British retailer BHS, which they once owned but sold last year. At issue: where hundreds of millions of pounds went, and the retailer's massive 571 million pound pension deficit. Sir Philip was once hailed by the retail industry as "King of the High Street" because of his talent for personally picking out women's fashion items and the success of his Topshop stores. Lady Green has been called because she is a trustee of the company.Guardian

Tehran theater boom
Here at WMPW,  we're   closely tracking what women in business and the arts are up to in Iran in the wake of the nuclear deal and the lifting of sanctions. Over the weekend, we found another positive sign: a story about Fahimeh Amanzadeh, who, with her fellow graduate Khayyam Vaghar, invested her savings in the Baran Theatre in Tehran. Shows have been selling out.

A Georgian gem
Georgian fashion designer Tamuna Ingorokva left her home country in the late 1990s to study in France and Germany. Then she went back home, overcame the odds, and launched a fashion brand amid political and economic instability.

Registering sex offenders
Last week in WMPW, we wrote about a new rule in India that requires mobile phones to have a panic button. Now, the country is considering a sex offender register. Both efforts are attempts by officials to make India a safer place for women .

Ribbing Hillary
Hillary Clinton took some ribbing over the weekend, when   President   Obama joked at this year's White House press corps dinner that   her limited appeal to young voters makes her look like an old aunt who isn't sure how to use Facebook. Obama's bit was funny, but paled in comparison to my personal all-time favorite Hillary moment from the event: a video in 2000 that depicted then-President Bill Clinton chasing after his wife as she pulled away from the White House because she forgot her lunch. Wonder if it will prove prescient?

Marissa Mayer: $55M woman?
Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer will make a bundle in severance if the company is sold and she's asked to leave. If that happens, she will get $55 million. Not bad.

Pushing paid parental leave
YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki , the mother of five children, says it's "crazy" that the U.S. Does not have a paid parental leave policy. Wojcicki says she's open about her big family since many women don't talk about their kids. "They're worried it's going to hurt their career—and that's really unfair for women," she says.
