Burger King has combined its classic Whopper and its new Grilled Dog to create the Whopper Dog.
The new menu offering is made with all the ingredients that make up a Whopper, but on a hot dog instead of a burger. It’s topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, chopped onions, ketchup, and mayonnaise. It’s priced at $1.99 for the hot dog alone, or $4.89 to make it a meal.
Burger King (BKW) confirmed to Coins2Day that the Whopper Dog is in fact real, and that it will be rolled out nationally for a limited time. So far, various social media users have spotted the new Whopper Dog in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota.

Burger King currently serves a Classic hot dog and a Chili Cheese dog. As Coins2Day previously reported, it tested a few other variations before launching Grilled Dogs nationally, but none of them stuck. Testing included an “A1 Ultimate” grilled dog, a “Rodeo” grilled dog, and a corn dog.
