Except for plans to turn a 200-acre New Jersey farm into an animal sanctuary, Jon Stewart has been uncharacteristically quiet since leaving the Daily Show last August. Peaceful, even.
That changed on Monday when Stewart travelled to the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics (IOP) for a live taping of The Axe Files podcast, which is hosted by IOP director (and former Obama strategist) David Axelrod.
Axelrod and Stewart got to discussing the “contradictions” in Trump’s politics, and Stewart could not restrain himself.
“I’m not even sure he’s eligible to be president. And that’s not a birther thing,” Stewart said. “I’m not a constitutional scholar, so I can’t necessarily say, but are you eligible to run if you are a ‘man-baby?'”
Stewart (not surprisingly) went on.
“He has the physical countenance of a man,” he said. “And a baby’s temperament. And hands.”

Now, this is far from the first time Stewart and Trump have tangled, as Stewart was the first to admit.
“I do have a history with the man. In an effort of full disclosure, we made fun of him. I think we referred to him as a boiled ham in a wig. Who knows,” Stewart said. “And so he tweeted at me because, as you know, great leaders tweet. Late at night. I remember Lincoln’s Gettysburg tweetstorm.”
This led to Trump tweeting Stewart’s birth name (Jonathan Leibowitz) back in 2013.

So, Stewart reminded Axelrod, he used the Daily Show to then “reveal” Trump’s real name, which you can view here (NSFW).
This of course led to an epic mock-brawl between Stewart and Trump, a brawl that made him doubt, Stewart told Axelrod, that a “man-baby” could be president.
