We found seven people at Coins2Day 500 companies with dream jobs that seem like they were borne from a childhood fantasy, and if the late Apple founder is correct, they should have no trouble enjoying long careers.
Take Émile Burbidge, Toys “R” Us Canada’s 12-year-old chief play officer. The stringent job requirements of a CPO include playing with and reviewing toys, then making TV appearances to talk about the products.
But these jobs are not just for kids. The rest of the seven are full grown adults. Billy Ray Chubbs, who started working as a security guard at George Lucas’ Industrial Light & Magic visual effects company in 2003, then became a receptionist for parent company Lucasfilm. Soon, ILM’s motion capture department called in need of a motion capture performer, and now Chubbs (pictured above) finds himself playing Megatron and the Hulk in action scenes.
