Martha Stewart is hoping to help you make your dinner.
The lifestyle mogul, Sequential Brands, which bought Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia last year, and ingredient delivery company Marley Spoon are launching a food-delivery service: Martha & Marley Spoon, according to an announcement on Tuesday.
The service will offer consumers “Martha Stewart’s award winning recipes and smart cooking techniques,” a press release states. “Delivered and designed with simple weeknight cooking in mind, Martha & Marley Spoon provides delicious recipes and pre-portioned seasonal ingredients that reflect Martha’s love for nutritious and creative home cooking.”
“Our everyday lives demand better weeknight cooking solutions,” said Stewart, who serves as Sequential Brands’ chief creative officer, in a statement. “Families are busier than ever, and it is incredibly important that everyone has the ability to cook wholesome dinners that can maximize quality time together every night of the week.”
“This marks an exciting milestone for the Martha Stewart brand as we expand into one of the fastest growing food categories,” said Yehuda Shmidman, CEO of Sequential Brands.
The meals cost $8.90 per serving for a family of two adults (at three meals a week) and two children or $10.25 per serving for two people (also at three meals a week), according to the website. Consumers can also select how many meals they want delivered each week for different prices.
Food made through the service is advertised as taking less than 40 minutes to cook.
Stewart is the latest to join the craze for meal delivery. Blue Apron, another meal kit delivery service, recently made headlines as it heads toward an IPO, as Coins2Day reported.
