For what may be the first time ever, McDonald’s (MCD) is introducing the McFloat—an international fan-favorite—to the U.S.
A McDonald’s spokesperson confirmed for Coins2Day that the beverage, which is made with Dr. Pepper and soft-serve ice cream, is only being served in a few locations in New York and Seattle. The float is already served in many locations throughout the world, such as India, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
According to Business Insider, although McDonalds was unable to confirm that it has never served a McFloat in the U.S. Before, the website found no evidence of local offerings of the beverage.
On an international front, the drink is served with a variety of different beverages, even with coffee in Indonesia.

The introduction of the McFloat comes at a time when the company is introducing different options to its menus, such as garlic fries in San Francisco and chocolate covered fries in Japan.
According to Business Insider, a medium Dr. Pepper Float is being sold for $1.99 in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.
