J.P. Morgan has good news for women in tech.

On Monday, the finance heavyweight named Lori Beer chief information officer of the company’s corporate and investment bank (CIB), according to an internal company memo obtained by Coins2Day.

“During her time with us, she has acquired deep knowledge of the organization while providing stable guidance and strong leadership,” reads the memo.

Before joining J.P. Morgan (JPM) in 2014 as the CIO for banking, Beer spend 15 years at health insurance giant Wellpoint (WLP). In her new role, she will report to global CIO Dana Deasy and the CIB’s chief administrative officer Sanoke Viswanathan.

“Her experience in driving the transformation of technology in a highly complex and disparate environment and delivering a multi-year strategy ensures that we’ll continue to execute and advance against our CIB and Global Technology priorities,” reads the memo, which was sent on behalf of Deasy and Viswanathan.
