DFJ Growth, the Silicon Valley venture capital firm whose deals have included Box (BOX) and Tesla (TSLA), is raising upwards of $500 million for its latest fund, according to filings with the SEC.
The firm last raised a fund in 2014, when it collected $470 million for growth equity investments in revenue-producing companies that are raising $10 million or more. The four-person general partnership remains the same, with John Fisher, Mark Bailey, Randy Glein and Barry Schuler.
DFJ Growth is an affiliate of longtime venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson, which primarily focuses on earlier-stage startups.
Its most recent win was the sale of cybersecurity company Ping Identity to private equity firm Vista Equity Partners and the sale of online ad company Yodle to Web.com (WEB).
