Mark Cuban recently said he’d be willing to run for vice president on a ticket with either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, but some comments the entrepreneur and Dallas Mavericks owner made this week make it seem likely he isn’t going to get that call from Trump.

Cuban had the following to say about the presumptive Republican nominee, according to the Dallas Morning News:

It’s rare that you see someone get stupider before your eyes, but he’s really working at it…You have to give him credit. It’s a difficult thing to do, but he’s accomplished it.

Cuban is no stranger to controversial and blunt statements, whether about American politics or officiating in NBA games.

He also said Trump wasn’t a good negotiator, which is sure to anger the candidate, who believes himself to be among the best deal makers ever.

It may seem strange for Cuban to be beating up on Trump after having seemed to support him during the primaries, but he has a good explanation for that; he supported Trump in the nominating contest because he really didn’t like Ted Cruz, his main rival and a senator from Cuban’s home state of Texas.

Cuban also said Trump would get laughed off his show “Shark Tank.”
