Here’s What You Need to Know About Mondelez’s Teddy Graham Recall

Mondelez (MDLZ) announced on Thursday that it is recalling one of its Teddy Graham snacks.

The voluntary recall only applies to 0.5 oz packages of Honey Maid Teddy Grahams Cinnamon Cubs graham crackers with best by dates of October 11 and October 12, 2016. According to a company press release, the products had only been sold through foodservice channels were not available to supermarket shoppers. Mondelez did not specify which foodservice channels were affected, though the term generally refers to catering services in places like cafeterias.

This comes as a result of the recent Grain Craft flour recall. The flour supplier had discovered that some of its product had been contaminated with undeclared peanut allergens. Since the residue is present in low levels, the FDA noted that it likely wouldn’t affect those with minor allergies to peanuts. However, people with severe allergies could still have reactions.

Coins2Day previously reported that the Grain Craft flour recall has affected certain Kellogg’s and Hostess snacks as well. No other Mondelez products are included in this recall, including other varieties of Teddy Grahams.

A spokesperson for Mondelez told Coins2Day that the company has notified its distributors, who will in turn notify their customers. She noted that consumers can call 1-877-807-5633 if they have any questions.
