Hillary Clinton spoke out about Monday’s Supreme Court decision to strike down a Texas law that would have put limits on abortion.

In a statement, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president called the decision in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt “a victory for women across America” and said that it “upheld every woman’s right to safe, legal abortion, no matter where she lives.”

SCOTUS's decision is a victory for women in Texas and across America. Safe abortion should be a right—not just on paper, but in reality. -H

While she celebrated the decision, she warned that the ruling was just one battle in an ongoing war.

“In Texas and across the country, a woman’s constitutional right to make her own health decisions is under attack,” she said in the statement. “In the first three months of 2016, states introduced more than 400 measures restricting access to abortion. We’ve seen a concerted, persistent attack on women’s health and rights at the federal level.”

This fight isn't over: The next president has to protect women's health. Women won't be "punished" for exercising their basic rights. -H

Clinton also took the opportunity for a jab at Donald Trump, her likely opponent in the November presidential election. She recalled an instance where Donald Trump said that women should be punished for having illegal abortions and reminded voters of his pledge to defund Planned Parenthood and appoint Supreme Court justices who would overturn Roe v. Wade.
