Meijer is recalling a number of its deli salads and sandwiches that could possibly be contaminated with salmonella.

The salads were supplied to the grocery store chain by Prime Foods LLC. The company issued a recall when Prime Foods discovered that one of its ingredients, an egg product, tested positive for the presence of salmonella. At the time of writing, no illnesses have been reported in connection to the salads.

Nine products are being recalled that had been sold at Meijer between July 20 and July 25, 2016. Affected food items include certain versions of macaroni salad, potato salad, tuna salad, egg salad, and chicken salad. A complete list of impacted products can be found on the company’s recall notice. Consumers can return them to a Meijer location in exchange for a full refund.

The chief operating officer of Prime Foods, Ronald Bennett, told Food Safety News that there’s an extremely low risk to the public. “It’s a very small amount of product that is involved and we have a certificate from our third-party lab that it was OK when they tested it,” he said. “Right now there is no evidence of anything pathogenic. We just didn’t want to take a risk when the lab notified us that they had some kind of anomaly.”
