Another exec has just left Twitter.
BuzzFeed first reported that Natalie Kerris, Twitter’s VP of communications, is leaving the company. Kerris joined Twitter (TWTR) from Apple (AAPL) in February. Leslie Berland, Twitter’s chief marketing officer, will be taking over the comms role full-time in addition to running marketing.
“During her time leading communications at Twitter, Natalie helped us share the Twitter story with the world. We are grateful for her energy and enthusiasm and the impact she’s had, even in this short time,” a Twitter spokesperson told Coins2Day. “We wish her all the best.”
Kerris’s departure comes as CEO Jack Dorsey is still attempting to turn around the company. In 2015, Dorsey laid off around 300 employees, and in January the bird saw its stock tumble after a number of high-profile execs in its product, engineering, and media divisions left the company. As an incentive to prevent key staff departures, Dorsey has offered additional restricted stock and cash bonuses to employees.
But Twitter’s stagnant growth and falling stock have raised questions over the company’s future. The company saw its stock prices hit a new low in May, when it dropped to just $13.19 per share.
