An art gallery in Brooklyn has a new installation aptly called “The Trump Tombstone.”

The piece is simply a granite tombstone chiseled with the name Donald J. Trump, his birth year (1946), and a tweaked version of his campaign slogan, “Made America Hate Again.” The Associated Press reports that the tombstone first appeared in Central Park’s Sheep Meadow in the spring and was soon confiscated by police.

The artist, Brian Andrew Whiteley, says that after The Trump Tombstone was discovered by authorities in Central Park, police tracked him down and he was interrogated by the Secret Service “to make sure [he] wasn’t mentally ill.” His attorney convinced authorities to release the artwork, and Whiteley was let off with a $300 littering fine.

Whiteley told the Associated Press that he made the tombstone to remind Trump that he has “stirred the pot of racism, anger, and fear, and to help Donald reflect on the legacy he’s leaving behind.” He added that he believes the installation is “very Trumpian” because the Republican candidate “is an egomaniac who loves putting his name on stuff—even a tombstone.”

The Trump Tombstone can be seen at the Christopher Stout Gallery in Bushwick until October 9, after which point it will be moved to a gallery in Chelsea.

Donald Trump’s campaign declined comment.
