Ciara is now a brand ambassador for Revlon.
The cosmetics company revealed on Wednesday that the singer would join a slate of celebrities already associated with the makeup brand, including Olivia Wilde and Halle Berry.
Ciara has had a long history with the brand. “I’ve been a fan of the iconic Revlon brand my entire life,” she said in a press release. “In fact, my name comes from the Revlon Ciara fragrance,” the singer said in a statement. “It was a gift given to my mother from my father, and she fell in love with the scent and the name. It’s incredible to think that after all those years I would be joining the Revlon family as the newest Global Brand Ambassador.”
Ciara has already taken the stage at Revlon’s Launch party, covering Michael Jackson and Diana Ross in renditions of “Rock With You” and “Love Hangover” on Tuesday.

Her face will appear in ads Oct. 22. She will also be the face of Revlon’s “Choose Love campaign,” which is part of the brand’s Love On platform. That campaign focuses on celebrating love.
Shares of Revlon are up roughly 0.14% in trading Wednesday. The company recently brought in its new CEO, Fabian Garcia, in March.
