Trump, who was close to a historic victory over Hillary Clinton early on Wednesday morning, will speak after a remarkable campaign that shattered many of the norms of American politics. The businessman and onetime Apprentice host painted himself as an outsider who would shake up the White House, but was dogged by controversy for much of the year.
