Apple CEO Tim Cook, who pointedly did not support President-elect Donald Trump during the campaign, asked his employees to come together and move forward after the election.

Quoting Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Cook acknowledged in a memo to all Apple staff that the election aftermath may have left some feeling anxious or with strong feelings.

“We have a very diverse team of employees, including supporters of each of the candidates,” Cook wrote in the email, which was published by Buzzfeed. “Regardless of which candidate each of us supported as individuals, the only way to move forward is to move forward together.”

Coins2Day reached out to Apple for a comment on Cook’s email and will update this story if the company responds.

Cook did not mention either candidate by name. The Apple CEO co-hosted a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton. He also co-hosted an event for Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. But Cook did not hold an event for Trump, who had few supporters in the tech industry.

Cook also did not address Trump’s criticism of Apple (AAPL) during the campaign. After Apple declined to help the FBI crack an iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino shooters, Trump called for a national boycott of Apple products. Trump’s positions on immigration, gay marriage, encryption, and other issues run afoul of Cook’s views, as well. Apple also decided not to sponsor or fund the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this year.

With some reports speculating about how potential Trump policies might affect Apple, Cook did try to assuage any worries about the company’s direction.

“While there is discussion today about uncertainties ahead, you can be confident that Apple’s North Star hasn’t changed,” he wrote. “Our products connect people everywhere, and they provide the tools for our customers to do great things to improve their lives and the world at large.”
