Facebook is trying to make it easier for small businesses to keep track of their customers online.

The social network said Tuesday that businesses can now link up their Facebook (FB), Messenger, and Instagram accounts together so that they can more easily follow how customers are interacting on the different apps.

Businesses will now have one inbox that will act as their primary communications hub between the three different services. Using the inbox, businesses will be able to see every time someone posts comments, reviews, or feedback through one of the three services.

Companies will also be able to respond through this universal inbox instead of having to log into each individual service. However, companies that still want to respond to Instagram comments directly via the Instagram app will be allowed to do so, Facebook said.

Additionally, businesses will be able to avoid having to leave the inbox to see the publicly available profiles of customers who comment or message, along with seeing a history of their interactions.

Facebook said the new inbox will be available to businesses “in the coming weeks,” but it did not cite a specific date. Companies will have to download Facebook’s Pages Manager mobile app, used to manage multiple Facebook pages, to access the new inbox.
