The Tanner family house featured in popular ’80s sitcom Full House has been snapped up by the show’s creator Jeff Franklin.

What he plans to do with it, though, could draw the ire of his neighbors.

The house, located at 1709 Broderick St. In San Francisco, went on sale in May for $4.15 million. Franklin, a TV producer, bought the property at a discount for about $4 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Now that he owns the home, Franklin said he plans to fold it into the sequel to Full House, Netflix’s Fuller House, and use it for filming. At some point, the producer says he also may rent it out to the public.

“It’s great to have the house in our Full House family and be able to preserve it for the fans,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “ Seriously, I love owning this house.”

But the home’s previous owners eventually fell out of love with the property—as did their neighbors—when the area was taken over by tourists and fans who overstepped boundaries and blasted the sitcom’s theme song. Even Franklin estimates that some 250 fans show up daily to take pictures in front of the house. And that probably won’t change—especially since he already painted the door back to its familiar red.
