A union president in Indiana is receiving threats after Donald Trump attacked him on Twitter Wednesday.

Chuck Jones, the president of Steelworkers Local 1999 in Indiana, came under attack after he accused Trump of lying about the number of jobs air conditioner manufacturer Carrier plans to keep in Indiana after a deal struck by Trump. Trump shot back with tweets saying Jones “has done a terrible job representing workers.”

Just half an hour later, the union leader started receiving harassing phone calls, he told MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell in an interview.

“Nothing that says they’re gonna kill me, but, you know, you better keep your eye on your kids,” he told O’Donnell. “We know what car you drive. Things along those lines.”

Another caller reportedly told him that “we’re coming for you.”

Jones added that this isn’t the first time he’s had threats from people, who in the past have said they want to burn his house down, or even shoot him.

“I take it with a grain of salt and I don’t put a lot of faith in that, and I’m not concerned about it and I’m not getting anybody involved. I can deal with people that make stupid statements and move on.”

The Twitter feud began after Jones learned that only 730 of the production jobs would stay at the Carrier plant—which he said is significantly lower than the 1,1000 Trump had originally promised the deal would keep. But the President-elect didn’t address the discrepancy at the Dec. 1 meeting at the Carrier plant, Jones told the Washington Post, saying that Trump, “got up there, and, for whatever reason, lied his a– off.”
