Donald Trump has denied that he will have anything to do with the next series of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice following the news that he was planning to stay on as an executive producer.
In a tweet posted Saturday morning, Trump said he will devote “ZERO TIME!” To the next series. “I have NOTHING to do with The Apprentice except for fact that I conceived it with Mark B & have a big stake in it,” he wrote.

Trump’s tweet was sent less than 24 hours after his campaign spokeswoman told CNN‘s New Day that the President-elect would do the job in his “spare time.”
“If the powers that be—the lawyers and the protocol officers—say that [Trump] can do [the Apprentice], then he probably is going to say ‘Why not?’,” Kellyanne Conway told host Alisyn Camerota. “I know Donald Trump very well and I can tell you that work is his work and work is his hobby.”
The next series of CelebrityApprentice, which airs Jan. 2, will be hosted by movie star and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
