Chelsea Handler called for women to come together as a response to the upcoming Donald Trump presidency in a new essay she penned for Thrive Global.

The television host started off by addressing the women who voted for Trump in the recent election. “We don’t just have a problem with men supporting women in this country; we have a problem with women supporting women,” she wrote.

“America is a free country, and we are free to differ on public policy,” she continued, “but what kind of a woman votes for a white, entitled rich guy who has spent his entire life working the system for excess personal profit while insatiably groping strange women for personal pleasure while Hillary Clinton—arguably the mostly qualified Presidential candidate in modern American history—was standing right there in her pleated pantsuit waiting to lift America up out of its 240-year ‘winning streak’ of male dominance and patriarchy?”

Handler has been outspoken about her disappointment in the election, and spoke with Sen. Barbara Boxer about it in on the Nov. 10 episode of Netflix’s Chelsea. “I know as a woman, it feels so sexist,” Handler said at the time. “I guess the message that I want to spread out to other women is to not give up because this is so important. It’s easy to throw in the towel and say that we’re gonna leave, or I’m gonna move to Spain. Because I want to move to Spain, I really, really want to move to Spain right now.”

She again touted the importance of not giving up in her essay, where she wrote that “it’s time to get focused on what really matters.” “Find women that are different than you and figure out the things you have in common,” she said. “We have a whole generation of girls who are looking at us to see how we treat each other. Let’s show them what the power of being a woman really looks like. Let’s open our arms to each other, and to them.”
