Google Pixel hasn’t been easy to find on store shelves this holiday season, but the Google Store now has a limited supply.
Google’s (GOOGL) online store on Tuesday started selling a limited supply of Google Pixel handsets. As of this writing, the 32GB Pixel is available to ship immediately, and the 128GB model will ship to customers next week. The Google Pixel XL models are still slated to ship in four to five weeks.
Google unveiled the Google Pixel at a press event in October. The smartphone is the first to be designed and engineered by the search giant. The standard Pixel model comes with a 5-inch screen and the customer’s choice of 32GB or 128GB of onboard storage. The Google Pixel XL offers the same storage options but offers a 5.5-inch display. Pricing on the Google Pixel starts at $649. The Google Pixel XL starts at $769.

So far this holiday season, the Google Pixel has been hard to find. Whenever it’s been in stock on Google’s online store, it’s quickly sold out. The Google Pixel XL has been even harder to find.
While Google hasn’t shared exactly why the Pixel hasn’t been so easy to find, some analysts believe demand for the handset has been quite strong. Last month, for instance, analysts at Morgan Stanley (MS) said that the Google would be popular this year and Google would sell about 3 million phones this quarter. Last week, market research firm Kantar Insights reported that the Pixel models have combined to account for 0.5% of all U.S. Phone sales in the three-month period ended Oct. 31. At that level, the handsets are now as popular as smartphone sales from Huawei and Microsoft (MSFT), and Google achieved that feat in just 11 days.

In addition to Google’s online store, the Pixel smartphones are available at Verizon (VZ), though again, availability has been mixed. Best Buy (BBY) is also selling the Google Pixel, but currently only the 32GB model is available.
